The Diocese of Kagera is allocated in a remote area of Tanzania bordered with Rwanda and Burundi. Mothers' Union members share bible study, preach, visit sick members, and help orphans in different ways.

They also run small project such as vegetable gardens and keeping livestock, and provide women with capital to start small businesses such as selling fruit.

As a diocesan level, members give seminars and teach. They are building a hall that will provide a source of income when used for meetings, wedding celebrations and social events.
