Many will remember Bishop Enoch and his wife Phoebe who visited Manchester as bishop and diocesan president of Nord Kivu in Congo. After a very difficult few years in the Congo they retired in 2010 and returned to the "safety" of their native Uganda.
This is their latest message (28 January) and they are clearly in need of our prayerful support.
Dear Friends,
Following the tragic death of our last born son, Titus Asiimwe, we hereby express our profound gratitude to you all, for your prayers and support to our Family during this most trying moment.
Whilst the Uganda police is still in the process of investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of Titus and some arrests have so far been made in connection, as a family, we continue to put our entire trust in the Lord Jesus Christ since He is all-knowing. We are also comforted by the fact that Titus was a Christian and is now with the Lord and the Saints who have gone before us. Therefore, nothing shall separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord and Saviour. (Romans 8:38).
We request for your continued prayers, for God's healing and comfort, for the entire family.
May God richly bless you.
Sincerely in Christ Jesus
+Enoch & Phoebe
