New Provincial President is from Manchester

It has been announced by Reg Bailey, Chief Executive of Mothers' Union, that Barbara Taylor has been elected as the next president of York Province. The province covers the 14 dioceses in the north of England.

Barbara will take office from January 2013 and will be a member of the central Board of Trustees. 

The Worldwide President will be Lynne Tembey, from the Diocese of Carlisle and currently Provincial President of York.

Both Barbara and Lynne know that it is only with the love, support and prayers of members that they will have the strength to fulfil their new responsibilities. They look forward to new experiences and new friendships over the coming years.
