Lord we pray for all affected by Hurricane Sandy:

For those bereaved or physically harmed we pray for your comfort;

for those left homeless and in shelters we pray for your provision;

for those involved in the clean up and rescue we pray for your strength.

Just as you once spoke peace into the storm, please speak peace

into this situation and the lives of all caught up in it.

In your mercy and grace.
