Catherine Hilton was commissioned as President of Mothers' Union in Manchester Diocese at a service at Manchester Cathedral on Wednesday.

In a message to members, Catherine said,

Thank you to everyone who made my commissioning service special. I have been overwhelmed by all the lovely messages and cards that I have received. The warmth of everyone's good wishes gives me the confidence and determination to build on the tremendous work that has already been done. Mothers' Union in Manchester will go from strength to strength. Watch this space!
